Software Engineer

Good day, my name is Sietse. I am a programmer: I actively find problems and figure out what solution makes the biggest impact. The thing I enjoy the most is designing and developing core systems in games. And I have a growing interest in developing game-engines.

I am an employee at 8D Games; a company that develops serious games. I'm responsible for most technicalities within the company. I find the most optimal path to develop the projects at hand while keeping the company's vision and goals in mind.

I have over ten years experience developing software and games, whereof more that five profesionally. And I have worked with numerous programming languages: C, C++, C#, Go, GLSL, Cg, MSIL, Python, SQL, Java and more. I like to program in a memory focused manner and reducing complexity as much as possible.
